Is there a course for voice and accent training in India, a course that will enable me to be a trainer? I am a post graduate in English literature and language with over 9 years of experience. I teach English to post graduate students in addition to soft skills. I would like to take up teaching voice and accent training for which I need some inputs in terms of a course. Phonetics was a part of my post graduation but I havent taught it in the 9 years of my stint as a teacher of English. I live in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. ... (Asked by vinayvenkata)

Most major universities in the United States provide an International Student Center, or something like that for exchange students. Your local university likely has the same. Touch base there, and you can come in contact with students from the United States. If you volunteer, you could be a tutor and mentor and benefit from the experience and the practice with English speaking skills as you help the students with the local language, customs and culture. Even I have heard of where you are from, so it must be a great cultural and metropolitan area....(Answered by Dawk)
