| I am taking online courses...actually I am working on getting my entire associate degree online. I am in my second semester and I love it. It's hard though and you need to really be self motivated and very organized with time. You have to push your self to work hard and you have to try as much as possible not to fall behind. Check this site out. sln.suny.edu They have many different colleges in NYS offering courses/degrees online. The community colleges are really cheap too. So check it out and let me know if you need more info. I'll be happy to help. PS ...(Answered by life_is_sweet_19) | |

| Athabasca University is legitimate and well run. it's not Harvard but it does not pretend to be either. Their degrees and credentials are OK and recognised in Canada. Students who graduate from SAIT with a business administration diploma often continue to a degree in Athabasca. so if you want another point of view, try to contact SAIT or SAIT students (maybe there are some visiting this site!)...(Answered by panda) | |

| Athabasca is the first choice for everyone in my school that fails a course and needs a guaranteed A with little to no effort. From what I hear, It is extremely easy to get an A in the courses that they offer, and while most people were content with the mark that they received they will easily admit that they learned very little. I know people that took statistics, economics or business related courses from athabasca. So yeah, take courses there if you are looking to boost your average, but if you care about anything other then ...(Answered by kamol_yason) | |

Even a similar online program at Athabasca is $7K cheaper. Other B.C. universities are not this expensive. It's not like Royal Roads has a reputation like Harvard's! Why such a price difference? | There are schools that have built buildings, created libraries and gathered faculty to dedicate themselves to a life long commitment to education; and there are schools that are in it to make the greatest profit they can by cutting corners on the most expensive part of education - the faculty. There was a great article in the New York Times for Sunday Feb 11, 2007 about the most famous online "for-profit" ...(Answered by matt) | |
