| I am the same way. My first piano teacher taught me for 12-13 years and I considered her to be more of a friend and mentor than a teacher. I couldn't really tell you why she was so important to me, I can only say that she was VERY important in my life. Kind of like another grandmother I guess. When she died I couldn't even take lessons from another teacher and I now have a tattoo with music notes and her initials in her honor....(Answered by misst311) | |
