Well, my brother and I are about the same ages as you both. I want to see mine succeed as well without helping him. What I do is when he asks me a question on his homework, I take a quick look at what it is, find it in the back of his books in the index, and then direct him to that page. My little brother learned by starting with training wheels, but here's what we did a little differently. As soon as he started showing some confidence, we bent the arms of the training wheels so that the bike could lean a little farther over before the wheels made contact with the ground. Then, when we was confident with that, we removed one of the training wheels altogether, until in the end, he really didn't need them anymore. I am trying to justify to my little brother that going to college is good for him (financial-wise) please help Beside it is a better overall experience such as dorm life, independence and such, I am trying to justify to my little brother that you should work hard and get some good grades in high school so you can go to college so you can get a decent job, however, he had a good point too that why spend 4 extra years in college while I can get some vocational certification (e.g. elevator technicans, blue print drafting operators, nurses etc..) and make just as much and sometime even more.
