| A coil refers to anything arranged in a joined sequence of concentric circles e.g- a piece of string wound around your finger, in circles or spirals. Twist means to change the form of something by rotating one end and not the other or the two ends in opposite directons. e.g- squeezing out water from wet clothes by twisting the cloth. I need a very clear answer, with details and explanations, if possible, please.? I am not a native speaker of English, that's why I need your help. Question: Can Passive Voice be applied to Perfect Continuous (Progressive) tenses? Example: can this sentence "My wife has been cheating on me for five years." be turned into Passive: "I have been being cheated (on) by my wife for five years."? The sentence in Passive was built (by me) according to my knowledge of grammar and it sounds good, to me, but I need the opinion of other teachers of English or native speakers of English. Thank you. ... (Asked by mrquestion) |

| That is a correct present perfect progressive passive sentence construction, except you would need to keep the "on", not put it in parenthesis. However, it is a very awkward sentence. Passive voice is best avoided unless you have no choice because you don't know the agent of the verb, or because you are trying to make a point. Passive voice becomes even more convoluted in the progressive (continuous) tenses. There are other ways of expressing the same thing. The point is, though, you did construct a proper sentence. Present perfect = have/has + past participle of the next verb. Progressive/continuous ...(Answered by tianjingabi) | |

| ON the answer card are the answers to all the possible multiplication combinations using the numbers 0-12. The child should pick up a question card and then point to the appropriate answer on the answer card. The answers are not in order, so the adult has to know the answers on his/her own. good luck :D...(Answered by Anonymous) | |

| Multiple Intelligence addresses different ways of thinking-different ways of looking at a problem, or a topic. Some have to see it written down, some have to see a demonstration, others simply have to hear it repeated several times. Of course, some need all 3, or a combination of any 2. Depending on the topic, these combinations can change. This is VERY simplified--but, it's a start....(Answered by beangrandmama) | |
