free colledge? ok so i got this letter in the mail saying i will reseave free collidge it said once i graduate and as long as im under 21 i will get fre colg. and it is mostly commuity colg's. my mom thruogh it away so i no longer have the letter and i have no idea how to find out how to finish the forms and get the funds. it was for being on medacare (i think thats the one) for two out of three years i hope that helps if any one of you have any idea please help me thank you ... I've heard of something called the Tuition Assistance Program for Medicare recipients. However, each state has its own program type. If you go to us.gov, search Medicare "Tuition Assistance Plan" and the name of the state you live in, you might be able to find some information....(Answered by provence)

Art Colledge. Is it worth it? Im currently a graphic designer looking to break into a higher industry like CG for movies and so on. Im known to be artistic and with skills but no degrees. Id like to goto colledge Academy Of Art Uni but its just realy exspensive that Im not sure if its worth the 65,000 dollars plus much more to goto school and get my BFA. I mean is it worth doing? The first thing you should do is learn how to spell COLLEGE and REALLY before you GO TO anybody looking for a job. Lack of proper spelling in your portfolio/resume and on an application won't be helpful....(Answered by Ed)

Should writting samples for colledge admissions be single or double spaced? My teachers all like things double spaced, some say its easier to read, so should I do that? It should specify in the application directions. If not, then you can assume, without fault, that it doesn't matter. In the end, this will not be what gets you in to college, though it is a big part. Normally, it's best to keep them in the format they were in when you FIRST submitted them. Your writing samples should not be something that you have come up with over night, they should be something you have already submitted for a grade in a previous course. There may be local scholarships. My school district gives scholarships for students starting in the ninth grade, so some places may start even younger. Where I live, the top 30% of students in each grade receive scholarship money that is not redeemable until they attend a university, at which point that money can ONLY be used to pay tuition (not for books or residence fees)....(Answered by Jetgirly)

Yes, I quit High School. I received my GED and am now in a Community College until I get my Associates in Science, my major is Human Services and when done with that I will transfer my credits to a 4-year college. I live in a population where the drop out rate is really high.Also depending on how much you make, you could be eligible for free grants from financial aid....(Answered by Daisy O.)

Having worked with young children my entire life and having been involved in early childhood education and numerous professional organizations related to how children are educated and reared, I have always recommended that children under ten be restricted from all television due to the measurable negative effects of violence as portrayed and in the doses one receives from television viewing. When video games began to become popular in the 80's, I played many of them to see for myself what the appeal was and what the effects, good or bad might be.
