| Anything that is colorful can be used to teach color at the preschool age. It all depends on what the child is interested in. If the child likes cars, a teacher my inquire "what color is that car?" | You draw them some objects on different levels (like apples, balloons, cars etc, ) connect them with dotted lines, and make them follow the dotted lines in the direction of writing (usually from left to right). When the lines are nice , straight and not smudged, or scribbled over (after a lot of practice) you should try and make letter shapes in the dotted lines, and do the same exercise....(Answered by mirella) | |

| the little ones will learn to match the colors of the dominoes as well as recognize the number of dots on the dominoes. they can be used as an educational tool. have them count the dots before they match the colors. this teaches counting and colors if you have the little one say what color he/she is putting down. good luck and have fun with the little one or ones...(Answered by sister cool breeze) | |
