what is a newcomer's almanac? i always see this journal kinda thing in my local library, its called a new comers's almanac, do all the libraries keep it? what information does it contain? ... (Asked by reaper)

Yes, all libraries do and it is for getting information on all new comers to the library so they can have the proper information on them if they should (heaven forbid) take a book and not return it (much better sounding than stealing don't you think)....(Answered by IBAWhistoname)

Well if it's just for children, try construction paper and cut out fire shaped pieces from red, orage, and yellow colored papers. I think the'd get the idea. For a more realistic effect, you can use colored tissue paper and have it "blown upwards" by a fan and place a battery powered light beneath it. (Don't use a high wattage light, or you may have a real fire on your hands.) Good luck....(Answered by todvango)

for hotel management u can do any course...science, arts or commerce. their entrance tests usually have a general aptitude test & english. if u can learn any other foreign language besides english, like french, spanish etc, it would work to your advantage during the interview level. this will be a very strenuous course, i hope u are prepared for it. lot of people have been known to undertake the course & then leave half way thru as they are unable to withstand the physical demands of the job. all the best to u....(Answered by cloudy)

What is your best/funniest memory from school? This will stay with me until the day I die: the funniest moment I had of school was getting the caretaker's keys cut for his stock room, stealing the sander for the wooden floors we had, taking it to the carpeted maths rooms and plugging it in at the wall, then getting a late-comer to hold the lever to get it moving, and it dragged him across the carpet, putting a huge burn mark in the floor! ... Hi i am a student of gr8................? Wow, those are a lot of courses - unusual courses at that - for 8th grade. Where is your school? I think you could study by yourself if you really want to, but I would suggest finding study buddies or a tutor if you can. The reason I am saying this isn't that I'm doubting your study or time management skills but that it's easy to get discouraged when faced with lots of work at once. Having someone to coach you along the way would not only help you if there's stuff you don't understand, but also provide you with ...(Answered by finallyagrad!)
