Reading on a screen is much more difficult and a lot slower than reading on paper. That's one reason why people print everything they see online -- so email isn't really saving paper. In fact, it's so much easier to email people than to send a letter, that people are using email for the silliest, stupidest things. Years ago, they'd pick up the phone to ask a question; now they email. And everyone of those emails is being printed out to be read and stored somewhere or thrown in the trash....(Answered by FallDownLaughing)
