There can not be a ready made solution. What is important is that you have to convince them by your words, deeds, and conduct, you do not intend to permanently remain in the States. I live in ny and i want to go to college in Italy but I heard that the Italian consulate only accepts visa? applications from actual schools themselves which means I have to be enrolled in a US college and the college handles all the paperwork. Of course not. If you want American credits for it then, maybe yes. But you are free, mate. Most especially in Italy. Just don't headbutt their star football players in the chest when you are over there. You can learn Italian and then attend an Italian-speaking University. What are your larger plans? It really depends of if you just want a four or eight month lark to beef up your American resume or if you really want to participate long term within Italian academic structures and (maybe later) society. -Also... Your mom's last wish aside, what's your wish? I mean, your burning desire - is it to study in USA - then you do it for that reason. With all due respect that you show your mom, if you pursue something for someone else's dream, you are bound to fail. That being said, to your question: I would ask the interviewer what is it that they need. Tell them, once you know what they want then you can provide them proof of what you have. How do I obtain a student visa for France? I am applying to study in France for one semester and I am trying to submit a visa application through the LA consulate of the french embassy and I am having trouble figuring out some details (address to send application materials, getting lodging certificate, "financial guarantee" details, etc.) Any input from anyone with experience in this application process would be greatly appreciated, especially since the consulate will not take visa inquiries over the phone and i don not live anywhere near LA. The embassador has all the information you need.Call them 5 times a day if you need to.It's their job.It is not pleasant,been there.The American embassy in Frankfurt was the same way,but I think they just want to see how bad you want the visa and study in France.Don't worry,you will get it.There are just dicks....(Answered by diva in deutschland)
