Private Elementary Schools - San Mateo County? My daughter is in first grade at the Kids Connection in Foster City. Tuition is low however, there are 20 kids per teacher and it is an excelerated program. Kids as well as the teachers are stressed out. We want out. I am looking for a school that also has high academic expectation but a lower student/teacher ratio. Anywhere in San Mateo County and parts of Santa Clara County would do. Great Orange county cities for small children? Hi, all. I currently live in Inland empire and want to move to Orange County for my child to go to a better school. I know that Irvine is one of those cities with GREAT schools but wonder what other cities there are in Orange county that has good schools. I would like a neighborhood with lots of kids to play outside (safe neighborhood) since my daughter is an only child and don't get to play much with other kids outside of school. You are correct about not all parts of Orange County being equal. Your best bet for finding great schools for you child is to stay in "south county" which is the area south of an imaginary line running from Newport Beach inland to Tustin Ranch. The beach cities and "country club" areas in the Saddleback foothills are going to be the most expensive, and likely to have young children with older parents and nannies. I would recommend that you focus your search in Tustin Ranch, Foothill Ranch, Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo (not too much in Mission Hills), ...(Answered by MC Wife)

I'm not sure if a pattern exists but here is a suggestion. Take a large map which displays the county borders and tracing paper. Trace the county borders and cut them out to make your pattern. Then you can use them to cut out your patches....(Answered by notaxpert)

About the Cobb County School District??? I've been living in Georgia a little over a year. I have a daugther who was attending Pebblebrook High School last school year when i first moved up here. She didn't want to attend that school this year so I decided to enroll her in the nearest school in my area which is South Cobb High. I registered her in august with my cobb county address.
