Has anyone ever attended the Landmark Forum Course? I am thinking about attending the Landmark Forum couse next week. Does anyone know anything about it? It costs $440 and runs from Friday 8 a.m. to Sunday 12 midnight and Tuesday evening. So it will involve quite a bit of my time. I am wondering if its worth and what anyone who has taken the course thought about the experience. ... (Asked by Stareyes)

It's worth every penny (and more) (and three and a half days is a relatively short period of time to do this kind of workshop). I did the Landmark Forum more than a decade ago and still see repercussions from it nearly every day (especially if I'm awake and aware!). As Landmark says, it's not therapy. It's a way of observing, listening to and participating in (your) life. The event itself is extremely well-run. Go for it...and good luck!...(Answered by pat z)

Anyone can become a DBA, not everyone can become a certified proffesional DBA. Yes, by taking professional courses like Oracle, MySQL will help you to have credibility as a DBA. But, last but not least, your hands on experience in the job will helps you the most....(Answered by junichiro koizumi)

I hate teachers, is there anything I can do? I am in 10th grade right now, and I can't stand my teachers. I seem to be the only one, its like a disease to me, but I think I can teach myself things much quicker and better than my teachers. I talked to my counselor last semester about this, and she suggested taking an online couse. I decided to take algebra 2 (Im taking geometry at school) and I finished the entire year-long course in 2 weeks with a 95% average. It sounds like you don't so much hate your teachers as you're bored and unchallenged in the classroom. You should meet with your counselor again and ask about getting into some sort of gifted program. Congratulations on being so good at math. A lot of people don't have that gift. Singapore Poly or Ngee Ann Poly, which one offer better couse.? I finished my O level this year and decide to go Poly after this. I have went to the open house for both Poly. Two courses catches me. Civil and Structrual Engineering in s SP and the other one is Film, Sound and Media in NP. My interest this in the field of Media but I am not very talented.
