Anybody had a college degree from overseas and had it accepted/accredited ? Sorry am so confused my english starts to suck.. In other words , is there anybody who has a gollege degree from overseas , and who brought to the Us and was able to find jobs with it ... I am thinking about studing abroad but I don't know if this degree that I'd get would be considered as any other "regular" degree , you know the one that you go for in campus , in other words , wouldn't they(companies) look down on it ? If u want to really study abroad, then y d online course? Ofcourse its not really worth. Distance learning is useful only if its for ur knowledge upgradation. It doesnt fetch a good job. For that purpose take a TOEFL, IELTS, some GRE/GMAT for some masters / specializations! Good Luck!...(Answered by P________)

Hi... It is quite amazing to know about that you are continuing your higher studies even not clearing the 10th standard. I am even more suprised, how you get through graduation admission. Since you have not completed you SSC there is no other way to get the certificate other than restudying all the grades from 10th onwards. A SSC certificate on the date of your appearing the true 10th standard exam can only give the way out. but that will be wrong anyway....(Answered by keep_smiling_n_be_happy)

Online degrees are definitely less valuable. However, some schools are still recognized and legit, but have quite high tuition ... University of Phoenix, I think one is called, but that is for graduate degrees. Technical and undergraduate degrees earned online have very little to no credibility from me when I hire. Frankly, sticking it out and surviving college shows character development online degrees don't. The reason - many schools are accredited, which means there is a governing body that reviews the school's cirriculum, instructors, and requirements. Well, in Greece every university degree is after four years of university. There are three-year degrees but they are considered of a lower level. A physics degree for example is four years and an architect degree is five years.. That's why any foreign three year degree is not recognized as a university degree. You'll need to have an extra degree or a master or even better sit some exams to get your diploma recognized.....(Answered by Dim)
