When SARS hit a few years back I got into an argument with my boss about a colleague who had gone for a holiday to Quandong (China - forgive me if that is spelt incorrectly). She'd gone despite the warnings and come straight back to work upon her return. Not necessarily. Just because something is legal, it doesn't make it ethical. For example, there have been times when a pension fund is removed and used for the company's benefit instead of for the employees' retirements. You know of someone on the football team who's been cheating on exams to keep his grades up (only way he can stay on the team). He's playing in a big game where a national league scout will be watching his performance. Playing in this game could mean the beginning of a football career for him. Ethical dilemma regarding homework help? I have a concern regarding homework help. My issue is students who are posting their homework questions word for word, and asking us to answer it for them. I am a TA at my university. If any student came to my office hours to ask me to answer a question for them, I'd laugh. I have no issues answering questions which students have attempted to answer.
