No - all appliances have tolerances to cope with at least 20 volts above or below their nominally rated requirement. The only exception would be highly sensitive monitoring equipments such as medical scanners. But these should be on a three-phase clean supply anyway....(Answered by James R)

At the very basics it has to do with magnetic fields. When a conductor (ie copper wire) is move across (perpendicular to) a magnet-ic field it causes the electrons in the copper wire to move this is very basic info and their are other ways like solar cells (due to electron excitment in a different manner)...(Answered by zarauberzang)

Operating a floor buffer is essentially the same as a lawnmower, but with one big difference. A floor buffer's handle needs to be held very level, since it is balanced on the buffing pad and any tiny up or down variance will cause it to go caroming off of things with you dragging along behind. Squeeze the handle very gently at first, so you can get it going at a lower rate of speed and find the "sweet spot". Once the brush/pad is spinning, lift the handle GENTLY, and the front edge will start to pull the whole buffer ...(Answered by Electro760)

Do you mean Electricain? If you go to school to become and electricain, they make good money in every part of the country. You start out as an apprentice, move up to journeyman and start making good money. If you go on to Master Electrician, you make great money. If this is some goofy trade school deal where they have created their own category and named a skill electric technician, stay away!...(Answered by Star G)

we all know that current is the flow of electrons.Electricity was discovered before Electrons in that time it is assumed that current will flow from +ve terminal to negative terminal but it is not true.For all the purpose in Electrical current direction is from positive to negative after the discovery of electron we know that it is not true.still for all pratical purpose we take it but we know that it is not true.still we follow the older way...(Answered by nambu_fact)
