What is your question? You might want to take advice from a trusted teacher or financial aid officer. Also they can see your sincerity or proofread your letter and give suggestions. See if it is some situation you can control or if you really need time off. Try writing a SHORT sample letter in correct format and take it to somebody. If they say it is fine, then you won't waste more time worrying about it and TURN IT IN! I went through it! The information reported from your old school in the financial aid system may be viewed by the new school. But this can only happen once the first school has updated their records to show that you received aid from them. The same is true for student loans. NEED HELP with FINANICAL AID FOR THIS SEMESTER???????? So today I found out that my loan application for school got denied after they lied and told me that everything was fine and that I would get my money in a few days to pay for tuition/fees for college. So Im using another loan company and I will know within 24 hours whether or not my loan gets approved. They wouldnt tell me why it didnt get approved something about getting another cosigner. Probably not...At least not through the normal channels...Any public money would probably be denied...Private money is of course private and they don't care as much about the default. But of course to get most money you'll need to fill out FAFSA form, and use that report to get money and they'll probably withhold that report due to the default....(Answered by feanor)

Finanical help? Ok, I'm on my 3rd semester at a community college in Kentucky. According to the business office, they say I own alot of money and now, or i can't sign up for classes. I have two loans and kees money, my parents is NOT helping any, why can I do to pay? my grandma keeps telling me to go into teaching because it will pay for it. Will your parents give you their tax return information, so you can fill out FAFSA.ed.gov? Unfortunately, FAFSA is based on their income if an undergraduate student unless you are independent and self supporting with no one claiming you. If not, it will mean taking out another student loan if you want to attend the spring semester. There are scholarships out there, but it takes time to apply and get word if you are selected or not. If you are going to be transfering in the fall to a four year university, you can start applying for scholarships for the fall ...(Answered by dawncs)

Approval for finanical aid? I applied for financial aid and was turned down because what my husband and I made in 2005. We haven't had any income for the 2006 tax year so I asked them to review it again so I can go this summer. I just received an email from FAFSA website saying that changes have been made from the school I am applying to. My EFC (estimated family contribution) was 3975(to high) and the school changed it to 1549. I didn't know if anyone knows if this low enough to get me qualified. The school said ... First I think the best person to answer this is someone in your financial aid office. Also, when you fill out the forms did you put that you had no money in the bank and you had a lot of debt.... I had similar dilemna and that was the tip someone gave me... You need to look more poor so that they realize that you need the money for school....(Answered by julia)
