Looking for a private or public preschool in the Everett/mukilteo area for a special needs child. Can you help
We were told she has a learning, cognative, and speach delay. She may be dyslexic, her Dad and Grandpa are. The only resource I've found offers only 30 min. sessions twice a week, I don't think that will be enough to help her catch up by kindergarden. We are willing to pay for private school, but we can't find one. Also if you know of a docter that can diagnose what the problem is that would help. We have only lived here for about a week. She is almost 5 yrs old.

I live in WA. Sometimes you have to go to the main district building and ask them for there help. If they don't have any help for you in your district look at districts outside of yours but close. If they can give you more help, get a evaluation called an I.E.P Its an Individual Education Plan. This will allow your child to go to a school out of district, without you moving. Also try the children's hospital they have alot of help there for children also.This speech problem may go away with time and also to much pressure will ...(Answered by trina t) |
