what do I do about my teacher who hates me? I learn math pretty slowly but once I get it I do well. I learn almost everything quickly except math. I am in the higher math class at my school and we have a teacher that just doesn't like me and I don't know why. I haven't done anything to her, no one dares, she scares everyone.she is really unaproachable, and assumes that I'm not paying attention when I am. What do i do if my teacher hates me? Tell your parents. I think that you should let them know that you were advised not to complain about the teachers because they are right. Let your parents know all the stuff that you told us on here because I am sure they would want to know about the quallity of education you are receiving as well as the treatment you receive from the teacher. I hate school, cuz they pressure you to be like einstein...god knows, not many people are that smart. I also hate it because teacher look down to you and think you are a complete idiot...i know im not. I don't mind homework though, its not that bad. How old are you? You don't say. You need to take a look at the things that interest you and see if there are any after school clubs or groups that you can join. That way you will be doing something that you are interested in, and the other people in the club will not find you either boring or a reject because they will have the same interests as you. After your English teacher reads this post, you're going to have to worry about HIM hating you too. If you're not allowed to eat in class, and you KNOW the teacher doesn't like you, why on earth would you eat a candy cane in his class? Make smarter decisions and get on with your life. Do u actually think the instructor hates the student? The instrutctor hands out a review sheet and tells the class u got two days to come up with the answer and then we are going to review it and Im going 2 make sure u have the right answers so u can study the next day. Ok the review has 50 questions, then the 2 days are here and they are reviewing their review questions. And the instructor calls the student up front, can i see your review questions? No the instructor does not hate the student. He was driving home a point about you not gettint along in workplace by only doing just part of your work, you have to do it all. If this had been on in the work place and the student had only done 80% of his or her work then somebody else was going to have to do the other 20% for him in addition to that other person's assigned work....(Answered by JUAN FRAN$$$)

My 11 year old absolutely HATES to read! How can I help him ..............? There has got to be a way for him to learn how to enjoy reading, but we haven't figured it out yet! He's very smart, and reads at an 8th grade level. His school does the accelerated reading program, so he has to read at least 2 chapter books a week. It's like pulling teeth! We take turns reading, and that works for a little while. The next day - back to hating it. Any ideas? Help!!! Thanks!! Because you are limited in your choices of books you are a bit stuck. I do not think it is he hates to read, I believe it is more he hates being smart. Kids today pick on smart kids something VICIOUS. So, by not reading and completeing the work in his accelerated class, he does not look as smart to his peers. He is at the ripe age of peer pressure and this is a stage all kids go through at some point to some degree. Teacher that Absolutely Hates Me? Ok, So I have this teacher this semester that absolutely hates me. I am an A's and B's student, and Im afraid my GPA will suffer because I have her. I don't really know what to tell you, except that you need to study hard. Get help from your peers if you are having difficulty in the class, or get a tutor. Are you sure she hates you, or did she just make some remark that made you think so? Sometimes teachers have bad days. If she really does hate you, just participate actively in class (ask questions!) and make sure to show her that you're serious about learning chemistry (by doing all your homework and giving everything your best attempt).
