Help I'm getting really bad grades...? I honestly try hard at school but I still get really bad grades. Another thing is I've already been absent 16 days, because I live far from the school I attend. Is there another place where I can go besides school because I'm not doing good and I'm basically failing every class, not just that but I'm missing alot of school. One of my friends goes to a place called "Horizons" I believe, and it's because she failed most of her classes so she only goes to that place once a week to pick up work and take the work ... Talk to your counselor about alternative high schools, continuation schools, etc. Most school districts have programs set up to help kids who aren't doing well in traditional school. I myself had severe difficulties in 9th and 10th grade, I almost dropped out. But a guidance counselor told me about a special program in my district that would be better suited for me. Well, if you are interested in learning a new language, the Laura Speaks Dutch podcast is very good and informative about the Dutch culture and language, although the language sounds disgusting when spoken (lots of phlegm-y sounds, lol). Unfortunately, a good podcast is harder to find than a person in the US without oral herpes...saddening, isn't it?...(Answered by kindoveaz)

should i join the peace corps? Community college isn't working out for me right now and i was planning on taking next year off to work for yellowstone. but should i join the peace crops instead? i can't think of anything more productive to do and especially nothing that would be as mentally and physically challenging as this. I am such a sucker for cat ears, I had to answer this. Yes it WILL change your life, you will work hard, you will appreciate EVERYTHING when you return and have new regard for life and the lives of others. You will become a full fledged cat...er.. the real trick is to balance having fun and meeting people with study. one or the other is easy but when you try and do both it can strech you thin. college is a lot easier that highschool in my opinion, because you pick your schedule times and place depending on the class, and you are treated better. you are charged with responsibility and not assumed to have none. do the work and you will do fine....(Answered by gsschulte)

I have 4 years Property Management experience, what other things can I do? Basically I manage a storage facility of 500 units. I pay the facility's bills, deal with customers & their accounts, and am also the district trainer & have trained 7 people since this February. Everyone always tells me I am too smart to work there and could be doing "so much more with my life". LIKE WHAT? I don't have an education, but I am pretty smart, organized, etc etc. What other options might be available to me with my experience of customer service, office skills, management, training of 4 years ??
