You should definitely consider University of Nevada Las Vegas. It has the best program in Hotel Managment and you can get a job in the evenings making good money in the service industry, which could give you some experience for your degree. Just don't gamble, become an alcoholic, or get involved with prostitutes and it is a relatively inexpensive place to live....(Answered by Mos)

G'day, Holmes Institute is one of the recognised college in Australia and therefore you do not have to worry about the recognition of your qualification anywhere in Australia. However you may want to enquire to Holmes in regards to work experience. I do not know what support and facilities that Holmes College provide for the Hotel Management course. I do know that some of the TAFE institutions (eg, William Angliss or Holmesglen), which is government institutions, to offer work experience either on or off campus. I don't know what country you are at. In most developed countries, it's not true, but, maybe in your country. Why don't you go around the hotels and restaurants and see ourself if that is the case (see if people are taller than you). If so, choose a different career....(Answered by spot)

I have no idea if you're doing the internship merely for foreign experience or also language practice but I would suggest Singapore, Shanghai, or Hong Kong. All three places have nice, big collections of five-star hotels that cater to an elite clientele group.
