| Generally speaking, the printing of fake diplomas, whether they are high school or college, is not illegal. Sometimes they are printed for humorous purposes, like printing a degree in flatulence epidemiology. Usually these companies have a name for their own "school" and they sell diplomas from that school, and of course the school doesn't exist except for being a name on a piece of paper only. BUT, if they use the same name as an accredited institution on one of their fake diplomas, then that is illegal.
