Minors are courses of study that lead you to your degree, or satisfy your curioisity in related fields in which you don't have enough courses to declare another major, (e.g Chemistry, Psychology, Social Sciences). If you have $$$ it is possible to have many minors, and they usually expand the field in which you are employable after graduation....(Answered by jumpsurf51) | |

Should minors be allowed to decided if they need to stay in school? I heard this arugment on NPI the other day and wanted to know your thoughts. Specifically high school. Sure, the conventional wisdom is that you have no future without a high school degree at a minimum, but in society there are lot of financially successful people who lack formal education. If those who hate school and behave poorly were removed, more resouces could ... (Asked by e13453) |

If a 16/17 was left to fend for himself in London what resources are there, eg soup kitchens, govt housing etc I need any and all information on what a older teenager 16 or 17 years old who has no idea about how Londoners live, would do if he was dropped in the middle of London withjust a few dollars. Would he be able to get some form of government unemployment benefit, government housing/refuge? Before he found help, where would he stay (for example, would he be able to stay in a park or back alley, or would he get moved on by the authorities?) Is there a reasonable risk of his stuff being stolen or something? Would he be picked ... (Asked by Abby J) |
