| I was going to say lego... Well, all kids love food, so cut up fruit and cheese and veggies into little pieces and put them on a plate with a bowl of dip. While you are eating, talk about the different food groups the come from, what they are called, how they are made, etc. etc... For parts of the body try printing off some ears, eyes, noses, knees, hands, etc...and have the kids color them in. Roll some tape onto the back (or better yet, make little rolls of tape and have the kids put them on the back) ...(Answered by IamBatman) | |

| Peg boards are wonderful, especially when you give them patterns to follow. Getting them to follow a pattern (mathematical concepts) -- left to right progression, hand/eye coordination and color concepts all within one activity. Palmar grasp is developed if you use the larger pegs; pincer grasp is developed if you use small pegs. Shape sorters -- teach colors and geometric shapes as well as developing hand/eye coordination and fine motor is developed as they use pincer grasp to pick up the shapes and fit them into the slots. Finger painting -- Let them draw letters and numbers (if they ...(Answered by luvmelodio) | |

| Yes there is. There are many events all round the country (England). Most have a junior section where under 12's race each other. The best thing is to get a copy of MCN(motorcycle news) good newsagents have them. Inside there is normally a couple of pages about events that month with telephone numbers. Alternativly find out who your local MAG(motorcycle action group) rep is they will probably know of any local clubs that are around. Good luck I am glad that you are being responsible with your son, please make sure he wears full protection whenever he is on his ...(Answered by zephs mummy) | |

| 1) Have them watch TV or something. Talk to them a lot, directly to their face, so they know to look at you. 2) It depnds on what they are looking at. Make sure it is something that they enjoy doing. If it envolves communication, look at them when speaking. 3) Motor skills as in walking? Just guide them and walk around the house. If you have a pet, like a cat or dog, they could follow the pet. Put on music and maybe he/she will dance. Try different things and see what works....(Answered by zbbasktbal82092) | |

| When you say gross motor skills I assume you mean large muscles groups of the body. Gross motor skills are things like walking, jumping, hopping, ball handling, climbing etc. These skills take time to develop are deliberate and controlled movements requiring muscle development. In addition, the skeletal system (bones) must be strong enough to support the movement and weight with each new activity. Once these systems are met, children learn new physical skills by practising them until each skill is mastered. Not to be confused with fine motor skills, such as drawing, cutting, writing. Some of the activities I used to use ...(Answered by Georgie) | |

| When my youngest daughter was in 1 grade the pe teacher came to me and told me that my daughter had poor large motor skills. She couldn't jump rope, skip, play hop scotch and things like that. Well, I had noticed that when she would run, she would not bend her ankles, she ran like a duck! I talked to the dr about it and he said there is nothing wrong with her, that is just how she is. Well, she is 16 now and in 11th grade. She has been on the drill team (dance) for 3 years. If she ...(Answered by mother of 4) | |
