ever thought of joining the military to pay for college?
thats how im doing it. they pay for all of my college plus about $1000 a month on those months when im in school. Ive also been to Panama, Kuwait, Iraq and have experience as a heavy equipment operator because of the miliary. As an Air Force retiree with 21 years of service time, I applaud you for considering this approach. Nowhere on earth can you get a better deal. Obviously there are constraints especially in time of War, but not only will most Universities give credit for Military service, the military will reward you by providing assistance in the form of tuition and grants to allow you to complete your courses. Have you tried for local sponsorship, such as Walmart. WAlmart has helped out alot with kids that give them good PR/ public recognition. Our daughter went to Japan as a Jr ambassador, and Walmart helped to sponser her whole group of 14 students. Also write to your local paper and try to get them behind you. But Walmart is probably your best bet, take in all the info ans well as the tuition forms, you will need documentation, an address or contact person for this program that collects the tuition....(Answered by mischa)

There are tons of scholarships that go unclaimed each year. Many $400, $500 or $1000 scholarships never even get applied for because people think it's chump change and not worth applying for. Well, get a few of those $500 scholarships and it'll really make a dent in your tuition bill. Do a search on scholarships, search your major, your ethnic heritage, your town, your parents employers, your employer, hobbies, high school, local chamber of commerce/rotary/ lion's club etc. Left-handed? my sisters school needs help with their band booster program,the school is about to lose their music department.the hotel that adopted the school donated some instruments back in 1992 but its been a while they are trying to get the help from parents but its not enough the teachers are buying items out of their own pockets while they are so under paid the government is a waste in it self now they are using scrap parts which is like taking parts to make one instrument how sad does any school out there want to help this school its real ...
