G'day, For most international students, upon successful completion of their study, they will be able to apply for a permanent residence. However the study must be at least a degree study. Some of the area that very much in demand at them moment is IT and hospitality industry (such as chef or hotel management). However please be advised that the demand changes from year to year, so there's no guarantee that demand will be the same by the time you have graduated from your study.
