Mothers day projects for Pre-K class? I am a Pre-K teacher who is tired of the same stuff every year...grow mom a flower or make the plaster hand prints...i need new ideas... please help!! i have only a week!! so many great answers so far!! thank you guys!! i want to choose best answer for everyone so far!! i dont know what to do!!!! ... | I am an English and Pre-school teacher but I had the kids make their mother's face on a paper plate, and they decorated the paper plates with flowers made from tissue-paper, and the tissue paper flowers are easy to make, just cut the tissue paper into one to one and a half inch strips, have the kids crinkle the tissue paper strips (like you are making messy wrinkley pleats, they don't have to be neat) and glue them in a circle around the paper plates, and also cut out leaf shapes to make the tissue paper look more like flowers. ...(Answered by Bingo lingo dingo) | |

| If you are wanting the casts for a gift, go to your local school supply and buy the crayola modeling dough- ( this is a light weight modeling dough that does NOT dry hard but remains flexible) then buy some plaster and after making the cast using the modeling dough mix your plaster and fill the mold of the hand- let dry and pop out of the mold- the hand details are incredible- if you attempt this from scratch, you will get a low quality hand impression that may crack over time- for added detail, mix a few drops of ...(Answered by Midnite s) | |
