To persue postgraduation in medical sciences in USA universities/colleges, what is the procedure/exam/elgblty? I have done MBBS from reputed medical college in INDIA and want to do PostGraduation in some specialization of medical sciences from any good Universitie/college of USA. I want to know- Is there any examination to get entrance into such courses? What all universities are offering such courses? | Contact many schools. I would suggest UC Davis and they will give you credit for your work there but you have to challenge the state exam here and so forth. U dont get full credit simply because its from india and (im sure you realized this already)....(Answered by ) | |

Why is it that most students from India prefer going abroad for postgraduate studies? Why do students from India prefer doing postgrauate studies from countries like UK, Australia, New Zealand etc rather than going for undergraduate studies as well? | hey reddy garu just go around some consultancies in n arounh HYD if ur from hyd. jus no more abt dem . i now ther r around 10 varsities in china wer a class room is filled with indian students for pursuing higer studies . the fee is comparitively less than US or UK . i think using internet or consultants is better u can check out international univs counselling conducted in city now n den..n do refer "educational times" in times of india as well as times ascent ...so all the best...(Answered by kamal) | |

| If the US, contact the loal embassy/consulate. They usually have an educational division that has information on the various colleges/universities and the courses offered and the cost. In the meantime, you will have to take your GRE or GMAT (if you want to get an MBA), TOEFL. You should be able to get that info too from the same place....(Answered by P P) | |
