Does anyone know any good websites with basic preparatory information in physics, sociology, or anatomy? I'll be starting college this fall, and I want to get at least a basic knowledge of these subjects before I go. So I intend to study at home in my spare time. Any help is apprreciated ^^; ... I don't know what to say......well 8th grade is mostly 13 and 14 year old and 9th grade is the first grade in high school with mostly 14 year olds and 15 years old. Some maybe older or younger than others based on whether they stayed back or their birthday....(Answered by c'est moi SnItcHeS!!!)

None - the school just has to call itself "preparatory!" Of course, there are requirements in most states/countries for a school to call itself a school and to accept pupils. But I'm not aware of any law against using the term "Prep" or "Preparatory" in your school name. The term at least suggests that students are being prepared for college, though....(Answered by Michael C)

Well.. I don't nor ever did attend SHCP, but I work at a parochial school and freshmen lock-in is an overnight adventure, usually in the gym, where the kids are "locked in" to one room - usually separated (boys/girls) when it is time to go to bed... the administration & staff spend the whole night patrolling to make sure there is no nookie going on in the dark spaces.... they will most likely stay up all night, watching movies, eating junk food, and giggling. And it is a bear to get them up in the morning to leave!!!...(Answered by Bekka)

Sure, you can go to any private school. It shouldn't be expensive compared to Saudi. All you needs is the transcripts & do some search on schools & send'm the papers...(Answered by Dr. Mazzy)

I have completely high school (grade 10) years ago and I now want to continue through correspondence studies.? I would really like to complete a Higher Secondary program (11th & 12th grade) and then continue upto MA or perhaps bED. Problem is most universities including IGNOU are offering only a brief preparatory course of six months instead of a proper Pre-degree course & then on to the degree courses and even though they say it is perfectly legitimate, I'm feeling uneasy about leaving a gap in my education. There are community colleges that offer high school classes to get a high school graduate equivalent start on college-level classes, and most of the time, people who take that course in education continue taking core classes from the community college, which will transfer to a university system later on down the road if the community college does not offer in the course listing the degree which the student wants to obtain.
