any solicitor known who deals with prosecution against schools no time wasters please? my son was bullied at school for almost four years and then nearly hung and the school kept turning a blind eye and is now suffering from social phobia i he needs a solicitor who will deal with a prosecution against the school so as this will not happen again to some other poor child who will suffer both at the time and in their future when it could have been prevented if only the school would have taken notice and not buried the situation under the carpet ... Can the prosecution be allowed to pay for character witness with a personal check or does the court pay them ? ... (Asked by Tammy D)

I think neither. The prosecution only pays for EXPERT witnesses, like doctors in a medical fraud case. The defendant usually has to pay for his OWN expert witnesses. Character witnesses are there because they believe someone to be a good person - I've never heard of them being paid....(Answered by Dog_trainer)
