| Flash cards, verbally reciting things and acronyms help me. Chunking your study, like 40-50 minutes of study and a 10 minute break can energise you, and gives you time to gather your thoughts. good luck. take some breaks but keep it up, you'll do great!!...(Answered by bimboish15) | |

| Typically, an above average IG is 116 and up, since the average is 100 and there is a 15 point spread (called a standard deviation) that goes from 85-115 in which 68% of the population falls. Only 16 percent of the population has an IQ over 115, so that is considered above average. If you add another standard deviation of 15, you have a significantly high IQ at 131 and above. To fully answer your question, it is possible to score lower on tests as you age. There are several reasons, from being out of school and not ...(Answered by cottey girl) | |

| My answer is purely personal and nothing to do with the law of our land! When we know very clearly that there is no cure for any kind of ailment like HIV, Blood cancer or other forms of acute diseases, is it not better to take rest or get engaged in small work, instead of getting into a highly responsible job, which requires 18 hours per day of our time to serve the best to the people? Kindly bear with me for this opinion, if it hurts you! With best wishes!...(Answered by parrot) | |

| Mensa accepts anyone, of any age! :) However, what is the standard deviation of that score? And if you are under 16, then you have to perform a ratio--> deviation conversion likely. The qualifying score for mensa is 130 SD 15, 132 SD 16 and 148 SD 24. 145 ratio IQ --> about 139 deviation IQ, so as long as your score isn't standard deviation 24 you are free to join :) Nice score, apropos. 139 deviation wise is higher than 99.5% of the population. You might find many mensa members are older than you are, by quite a bit...though most members are ...(Answered by Reach) | |

| A. | |
| The 2006 selection index was 217. The 2007 (this year's Semifinalists) selection index was 217. Next year's selection index threshold possibly will decrease because the writing section was scored so that the average writing score was approximately 3-5 points lower than the average writing score last year. If you scored in the 99th percentile nationally, you will probably be a Semifinalist next year. Even if you scored in the 98th percentile nationally, you still might make it, since Texas' education program is not as strong as those in other states....(Answered by ethereality) | |

| Well, I went to the site below and looked over the flow chart (2nd.ref). To get a scholarship you need to be int the top 8,500 out of 1,400,000 PSAT test takers, which means your rank is based not on some external criteria, but on the scores of others that took the test, so nobody can say for sure until all the numbers are crunched. Regardless, you should get some sort of recognition (at the least, I would hope, commendation), and certainly your score will aid you along the way toward your goals. Grammatical wrong name of :"The Inheritance of Loss."? The top 'of the table. The boys 'of my school.' The grief 'of death.' The pain 'of loss.' In all these adj. pharses 'Of + noun phrase' makes an adj. phrase qualifying the noun preceding these words. It, in another way, would mean: The table's top. My school's boys, etc. where 'The table's' and 'My school's' qualify the forthcomings nouns Thus, "The Inheritance of Loss' will imply Loss's Inheritence, and that is not the intended meaning of the author. 'Loss' cannot qualify 'Inheritance.: Therefore, in my earnest opinion that is based on the ... (Asked by wtiofdelhi) |
