what's the easiest way to make recycled paper for a daycare/pre-k activity?

i just started doing this. it isn't the easist thing to do, but very fun and rewarding. mix recycled paper with water in blender. about 3 parts water and 1 part paper. you may want to add flowers, glitter, cotton or wool fibers, etc. (if so, add just a pinch) blend. pour the pulp into a vat full of water. mix thoroughly. dip a tightly woven screen (the ones used for screen printing work great) into the mix and pull it out. it should be coated with the pulp mix. place another screen on top and put it onto a cookie ...(Answered by lessthanthree)

ask the children to bring in empty packaging from home as a small homework task. sort through th items brought in with the children talking about what can be recycled and why we should recycle. More importantly what recycling means. Allow the children to make collages using the varoius types of materials which can be recycled. you could make this into a display. You could also do junk modelling with the packaging....(Answered by vic)
