Here is a link to The Texas Department of Health. It lists several programs and contact information. There's a good likelihood you are eligible under a Medicaid Waiver program which could help you with some inhome care for your child. Looking for community resources for developmentally disabled teens in Cincinnati OH area.?
MO and CA have "regional centers" that act as coordination point for services and funding. I'm looking for the equivalent in Cincinnati area. Also looking for organizations that provide services such as respite, summer camps, day camps, residential placements and any other contacts that will help. ... (Asked by cincibound)

I am from Ohio also but can't quite remember what county Cinci is in...is it Hamilltion? Ohio is the only state that has County Boards of Mental Retardation, they provide a wide range of services.
