| 1228 out of 2400? because then it is not that great, but you will still get into some colleges as long as you apply to easier and less competitive colleges. 1228 out of 1600 is not bad at all. for your first time especially. try it again, if you can oull of a 1300 out of 1600 then you're set for some pretty good schools, along with good high school grades and activities of course. good luck, and where are you planning to apply?...(Answered by Edipo) | |

Can I retake the ACT after I start college? I dropped out my first year of college and plan to go back soon. but I want my test scores for my ACT and SAT to improve. Will schools go only by my college transcripts, or will they look for my test scores as well? | Colleges do re-takes of GCSE's. I know that Stanmore College in Stanmore, jubilee line, just outside london, 15 mins from Wembley has an adult college in there. | If I'm not mistaken your SAT scores are only good for so long anyway, maybe only 5 years. So I'm thinking you might have to retake the SAT if you want to start going to college. Since you are a little older I think your test scores won't matter so much. I think the application criterias are a little different if you are over 21. You'll have to check with the college you want to go to but I think you can definitely get in with your life experience and work experience.
