What is your best advice for a single black female seeking an solid career choice? I am a single black female, who is 36 years old, & at the present time working a commmon laborer occupation, (janitorial). This position seems to have me locked into it due to the medical benefits, & somewhat flimsly job security. I really cant give you a job choice, but i would like to tell you to keep a positive outlook and dont give up. People like JAMIE dont and never will understand the struggle you endure because its people like her giving it to you. Have you ever thought of running your own daycare? Becoming a nurse? Banker? These are challenging jobs. Times are hard now, so having a "solid" career is not guaranteed to anyone, so continue to move forward and in the meantime pray for endurance.
