Do you feel your school district lets your children down? I have a son with a anixity problem he is 8yr old. The doctors wont him to have therpy at school. The school told me that he didnt have alearning problem so it was not there problem. DO you find this to be fair. The school offers this. | The first thing you should so is write a letter to the school stating that you want a full comprehensive evaluation for your son, to identify if he is in need of specialized instruction to address social/emotional issues. Also state that you believe his anxiety disorderd is inferring with him achieving to his full academic potential. Once you put it in writing by law the school has to test him. If it is discovered that his anxiety is causing him problems, the school by law has to help. DON'T LET THE SCHOOL LIE TO YOU AND SAY THEY DO NOT HAVE TO ...(Answered by Advocate4kids) | |

Why the state of Colorado refuses to give a full day of kindergarten to children like my child with delays? I know there is a way the state of colorado is sposed to give federal funding to children like my daughter who have major delays for a full day of kindergarten. The district saying it doesn't exist and I know I'm being lied too But the state of colorado and this school is giving a full day of kindergarten to children who are illegal for free. I asked why at the IEP meeting and the princible denyed the program on there website exisited. It even said full day kindergarten for ESL, they go for free! Yey, they want my ... (Asked by Apple) |
