What kind of teacher is she??PLEASE READ!? So for my english class we have to write a poetry book and today my teacher edited some of our poems. every poem i wrote she tore to shreds(not literaly) and rewrote all of them. i just wanted some advice like change this word to this i didn't want a new poem that isn't my own. Plus she is being a little mean person because the poems are supposed to be your OWN work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! people can only help to edit things like changing this word to that. tell her, if this is supposed to be your own invention, why is she tearing it up, and then re-writing it. tell her that if it offends her, you can take out that part. 2.re-write it and tell her to accept it, or u are going to the principle. 3.tell her to cram it....(Answered by silver_slytherin)

Depending on how big the tear is, yes, you can use an iron on patch. But you should probably iron it on from the inside. Then you'll only see the frayed part, and it won't tear anymore....(Answered by Lil' Dog)

I am smart and not being challenged at all in my Language Arts class? Language Arts is my thing. I love to read and write. I am in seventh grade and I can read adult-level books. Options: 1) talk to ur teacher...ask her about a more advanced class or at least giving u more advanced assignments. (probably best to try this first) 2) have ur parents talk to the teacher/school 3) talk to a counselor 4) don't say/do anything...but must be careful with this...what if u don't learn enough to get into the higher level classes in high school? u may have to try studying on ur own. (to look further into this, u can go to the high school ur planning to attend & ask about how u can make sure ur in the honors classes in the future.)...(Answered by chloe)

How many times would you tear in half an essay/report you had written if you wished to dispose of it? Say you had written or printed out a draft essay at school on a couple of sheets of A4 paper. Or if you are not at school, a draft report in the office which has now been corrected and written up. You now decide that you don't need that copy and are going to bin it. It's not a particularly confidential document. Assuming a shreader is not available, how many times would you tear it in half before putting it in the bin? I'd tear it in half, put the pieces on top of each other, and do that again three more times, so I'd tear it four times in all. Each page ends up in 16 pieces (I think!) The only thing I may do differently is fold it in half before I rip it so there are more smaller pieces but don't ask me how many :p Anyway, I always fold and tear things four times like that; anything at all I am throwing out like junk mail, memos, faxes etc. I work in a large office and there are one or ...(Answered by Tammi J)
