in india UGC test is conducted to get admission in phd in any institution here but it is meant 4 indian nations. apart that individual entrance test are also conducted by universities like 1.NII, delhi 2.CSIR, banglore 3.PGIMER, chandigarh 4. AIIMS, delhi 5.panjab university, chandigarh 6. There are actually many organisations try to make rankings of the world's universities, even from a Shanghai English newspaper. However this does not means that the service to international students are also good, since in some cases, the bigger the uni, the poorer the service. As mentiones earlier the acceptance rate is less than 1%.Students sometime start their preparation for the entance from as early as ninth grade. As for careers, she can work as a counselor in a correctional facility or a state hospital. She can work as a counselor for a county agency. One of my undergraduate degrees is in Management because I wanted to take the easy way out. Management DOES use a lot of mathematics and statistics to determine probability of outcomes and to measure results. You have to prove yourself in those jobs before you get promoted to senior management, where you will need a good understanding of what is being presented to you. Perhaps you should consider marketing. At least there is a little more money in that than in entry level management.
