My understanding of the Student Loan Process in the past 7 years I have been attending and the past years I have helped my son with his college tuition, is that THERE IS NO RELIEF from PAYING STUDENT LOANS. Loads of places - HFC bank are a favourite for unsecured loans. You will only need a guarantor if you are young and/or have a poor, or limited credit rating. Otherwise they are only too keen to lend you money but as the other answerer said - be ready for high interest rates and hefty repayment schedule. Off to buy Xmas presents already? Good luck.............(Answered by superman in disguise)
